| I am a retired mechanical engineer. I own Luna since 2007 and sailed her first in the Med and than together with my wife around the world in the first Oyster Worldrally 2013/14. After a major refit in 2015/16 I sailed her singlehanded from Sardina to the Antigua and back in 2017. My first 2 Atlantic crossing I did prior to GPS 1988/89 in my 29 foot steel sloop from Germany to Brazil and back via the Carribean, Bermuda, Azores. My only "printed qualification" is the "Deutscher Sportboot Führerschein". If you sail German waterway without you might loose your drivers licens. | |
