Stuart Kirkham, male, 62

Ref 30839

Nationality: United Kingdom
Currently based in: Salisbury, United Kingdom
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 20000 ocean miles / 10000 coastal miles
Married with four daughters. I have been sailing since 1982 since when I have sailed the South and West coast of the UK, the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Baltic, North Sea and the Atlantic. I am qualified to RYA yachtmaster offshore ( I was a RYA Cruising Instructor for 5 years teaching young and old alike) and qualified for Long Range Radio (SSB). I have completed the Atlantic circuit (ARC Portugal, ARC and ARC Europe), lived in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean on my own yacht a Wauquiez 43 PS. I completed the ARC again in 2018 on a catamaran (Lagoon 400) when I helped a family of four (two young boys) achieve their dream and helped deliver a number of other yachts to various destinations. I place an importance on safety and on enjoyment, and in developing skills through experiences that are unique to sailing. I am happy to take up a crew place to help or will be happy to skipper a yacht under the right circumstances.
