| I sailed dinghies as a child, but as middle age approached found myself looking for sailing that involved less sea water in my gin and tonic. I sail in the Eastern Med with my family every summer; also occasional day sails on the west coast of the USA. We bought our Moody 46 EVANGELINE in 2020 and in 2022 sailed from Greece to Las Palmas to join the ARC+ (Las Palmas to Grenada via Cape Verde), and back via Bermuda, Azores, and Portugal with ARC Europe in 2023. We're now back in the Med looking forward to a few months cruising before heading back across the Atlantic with the ARC+ in November 2025. Onboard arrangements: all day to day duties and costs are shared by all crew (except repairs which we pay for). No smoking below. I've ticked the 'Italian' language box as my wife is Italian and she likes to think I understand all she says, however in reality my ability is fairly disappointing. | |
