An adaptable, young, and adventurous guy who has always made life interesting through learning from the people around me. I was fleet captain for my university's sailing club where I sailed small boats for 3 years and raced in 3 regattas. Those that know me would say I am a handy man with an ability to get along with a diverse range of characters. Outside of my interest in sailing, I am an avid canoeist, open air painter, long distance bikepacker, backpacker, runner, fisher, guitar player, and adventurer. After earning my BS in Geology, I spent my time as a carpenter, lab tech, math tutor, landscaper, and traveling painter. I spent three years primitive camping and doing crew work excavating dinosaur fossils in the desert steppe environment of Utah's Jurassic National Monument. This year I did a 550 mile solo bikebacking trip through the Great American Plains. Over the years I have found myself living in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Montana. I have a strong work ethic and desire to learn regardless of the environment I am thrown in. | |
