Looking for: Caribbean; Western Europe & North Atlantic Islands;
Experience: 10000 ocean miles / 5000 coastal miles
Hi there, Sev here. Am seeking a passage from Europe to the Caribbean during the window of early November to late December 2020. Strong preference to crew on a multihull. Am currently in Berlin, Germany, ready to depart and embark. I am a happy 60 year young skipper, sailor & solid crew member. No drama personality. Can plan and navigate passages, steer well, enjoy night watches, cook, and am ready to do any chores to keep boat and crew moving forward. Interested in gaining multihull experience. I own and skipper (mostly solo) an Albin Vega, SY Barbarella. I hold a (commercially endorsed) RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification (2018, from UKSA) with some 15,000 nm experience (10,000 off-shore, 5,000 coastal) including an Atlantic crossing in Nov 2016 (Teneriffe to La Martinique), a Pacific crossing in Oct/Nov 2017 (Hawaii to NZ via Fiji on a 80' race boat) and sailing the North Indian Ocean (Thailand to Maldives) in Jan 2018; South England / English Channel (Summer 2018); and a second Atlantic crossing on a Swan 54 in 2019 from St. Martin to the Azores. Have sailed 42' catamaran in the Med. Sailing dinghy experience on 470, OK Yole. In 2020 I took SY Barbarella from Kiel around Denmark (North Sea) to Sweden through Skagerrak & Kattegat.
