Hi! I'm a 26YO electrical engineer from Georgia, USA currently taking time off for travel and skillbuilding. I'm currently riding my old motorbike around the world, and looking to work in some sailing experience as well, so that I may one day get my own boat and cross the Atlantic. I play a number of instruments, and always bring one when traveling. I'm easygoing and eager to learn, so if you need a handyman/engineer, hit me up! Skillset: -As a lifelong tinkerer, I'm a pretty good handyman, and very familiar with engines. I taught myself to fix mowers as a kid to earn pocket money, and started rebuilding antique motorcycles, which kicked off my passion for them. I've repaired a couple inboard Diesels as well, but I'm not so familiar with them yet. -Being an electrical engineer, I'm also very familiar with wiring, soldering, power systems and generation, solar arrays and batteries. -Spending weeks on the back of my motorbike has taught me to solve problems with limited tools. -My father was a professional antique restorer, and growing up in his shop, I picked up some woodworking knowhow too. -The field I work in has to do with wireless sensor systems, so I have a good understanding of radio operation and I'm a licenced HAM operator (KG5WWA). | |
