Born and initially raised on a remote cattle and coconut plantation in the pacific; splashing about & boats formulated most of my early childhood. I went to school in Australia and then my Parents moved to Malaysia and I went to school in England. I have travelled a lot and am fairly easy going, observant, mainly a happy soul, always wishing to learn more. I like listening to the boat, the sails, the ocean, full moons and I tend to be quiet when the engine is on. My sailing qualifications are: competent crew, day skipper, motor boat license, race officer, sea survival, first aide, power boat, offshore radio license, weather formulations (fundamental, coastal, & trans Atlantic). I have spent the past 5-6 years race sailing in different parts of the world off-shore in extreme environments and twilights. I have raced across the Atlantic, been through the Panama Canal, cruised/raced Palma, Whitsundays, Florida, Caribbean, Bermuda, Portugal, Gibraltar (filthy fuel) Tenerife, Suffolk coast line, Isle of White, NZ, Australia. I’ve helped crewed just about every boat there is! 😀 I am currently in NZ the plan is to return to Europe May 2024 heading back this way after the Barcelona Americas Cup (Thu, 22 Aug 2024 – Sun, 20 Oct 2024). I would love to learn celestial navigation and build up my miles to enable me to do a yacht master course, however I’m less about racing theses days as I am more into kite surfing and learning to foil/wing. I love helping out, crew with extreme offshore experience. I look forward to hearing from you, I am self employed therefore I can travel and live anywhere. | |
