I grew up in the Pacific on a remote cattle and coconut island, splashing about on boats formulated most of my early childhood. I went to school in Australia and then my Parents moved to Malaysia and I went to school in England. Im very well travelled and easy going. I am use to little sleep when needs be/off shore, but always ensure I sleep the few hours given to me, so that I am as refreshed as can be when on watch. I am observant and a happy soul, always wishing to learn more. I like listening to the boat and sails, the ocean and the time I am at my quietest is when the engine is on. My sailing qualifications are: competent crew, day skipper, motor boat license, race officer, sea survival, first aide, power boat, offshore radio license, weather formulations (fundamental, coastal, trans Atlantic. I have spent the past 5-6 years cruising and race sailing around the world. I have sailed across the Atlantic, through the Panama Canal, Whitsundays, Florida, Caribbean, Bermuda, Portugal, Suffolk coast line, Isle of White, NZ, Australia. . I have delivered a boat from Gibraltar to Tenerife, raced Super yachts in Palma, Bay of Islands and Auckland racing and cruising. I am currently in Sydney, ideally looking to cruise from Sydney to NZ, however realistically I would like to leave and start sailing learning new skills such as celestial navigation and build up my miles to become take the yacht master course. I’m getting more serious so that eventually I can own my own boat. Love helping out and I look forward to hearing from you. Self employed therefore I can travel and live anywhere.
