| Thank you for your attention to look at my profile. I am interested in sharing my passion for sailing, let me introduce myself briefly: My sailing experience: I have been sailing for about 15 years mainly as a skipper and have I have just completed the German practical SSS exam and seamanship, weather and navigation theoretically (similar to RYA yacht master offshore). Else I have the German certificates; SBF-Binnen, SBF-See, UBI and SRC. I have sailed charter yachts in Germany, Poland, the Baltic Sea (Danish South Sea, around Rügen, Kattegat, Szczecin Lagoon), the Mediterranean Sea (Adriatic Sea, Ionian Sea, Aegean Sea, Balearic Islands) , Atlantic (Madeira, Gibraltar to Canary Islands and just recently participated in the ARC to cross the Atlantic) and the Gulf of Thailand and am regularly sailing in and around Berlin on my Ixylon Dinghy. I am interested in: participating in any kind of sailing adventure with nice people in nice locations. Currently I am in the Caribean and plan to sail around the islands before heading back to Europe. I want to be a useful part of the crew, contribute to the success of the tour with my work and am willing to share any kind of occurring expenses for maintaining the boat and running expenses. What else I do: In the last few years I have been traveling a lot for work in Europe, Asia and America and now live mainly in Berlin. Just now I have achieved to work only part time and have more time for sailing. :-) I am working for adelphi research, a non-profit environmental research organization and environmental consultancy, for 12 years as a scientist and project manager. The focus of my research and advisory work is on innovative technologies for water treatment, integrated water resource management, water supply and adaptation, renewable energies, as well as technology cooperation and participatory approaches.
