I’m an easy going guy whom enjoys sailing and boating in general. I’ve been sailing for approximately 20 years, mostly inland. I’ve crewed aboard a Bavaria 40 during 3 separate ARC USA rallies with legs including Tortola to Bermuda, Bermuda to NY, and Fort Lauderdale to Virginia. The last time I was responsible for preparing meals in addition to standing watches. I’ve completed ASA courses 101, 103, 104, and 105. I am a US Sailing Keelboat instructor and USCG licensed - 100 ton Master Inland and Mate near coastal, with sailing and assistance towing endorsements. I also spent 4 1/2 years in the USCG (Electricians Mate) assigned to a SAR station, then 2 different ships before my enlistment ended. I am in very good health and do not regularly take any medications. I usually cover costs getting to and from the boat with the owner covering pre and post trip lodging and meals underway. I have my own safety gear, including a PLB. | |
