Hi, I am Romane, 28 years old, living in Brussels after working and living in different countries the past few years. I had some sailing classes when I was little, when I found out my love for the sea. Over the years I didn’t have much opportunity to sail unfortunately until last year, when I joined some regattas. Quickly I realised I want to do more of it. That’s how this summer I took a week of classes in Corsica (Glenans Level 2). After that, I joined a couple that wanted to bring their boat from Greece to Monténégro. I have been planning to travel in South America and after experiencing three weeks in the Mediterranean I decided I want to pursue my dream to get to the other side of the ocean by sailing boat. Although my experience remains limited, I am good at executing and master the basics. I like to share moments together on the boat, but will also leave you your space when needed. I am very easy going and like to help with all duties on the boat. I am very sportive and currently preparing my second marathon of the year ;) I am looking forward to new adventures and new memories with new friends :) | |
