| My name is Rocco, I am Italian 32 yo and I love the sea and every activity related to it. I fell in love with sailing recently but I decided to make it my job, so I quitted my old job as an Insurance Analyst and I am now dedicating full time to sailing training. I am studying for the Italian boat licence without coast limits and I also started the RYA qualifications. I am practicing also with dinghies (monohull and catamaran), and with an Oceanis 41 for the RYA courses. I need mileage for RYA exams so I am looking for any long miles sailing, I am especially interested in the ARC Atlantic Crossing 2020 because I need to be in Caribbeans (Antigua) at the end of the year to complete the Yachtmaster qualification. I adapt myself to do anything on the boat, watches, sails trimming, boat cleaning and cooking. I cook pretty well, also for many people and I love it. I do not have any dietary restrictions but I can cook for vegetarians with no problems. I have many years of swimming and waterpolo experience and I feel totally comfortable in the water. Never felt seasickness in all my life. I do not have any problem to share spaces with strangers, has always been a nice experience to me to meet new people and listen new stories.
