Hi, my name is Rob and I am a recently retired paramedic with 36 years on the road. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to cross an ocean and now with retirement I am finally free to pursue this dream. To this end I have purchased a small live a board that I have been slowly getting ready to splash and hope to do so in the spring of 2022. I have about a years experience in sailing (mostly racing on weekends) and would be the first to admit that I have a lot to learn but I’m eager to take on this challenge. In order to be better prepared I am presently enrolled and hope to have completed my captains license by this November. Being a Paramedic has placed me front and centre to many emergency scenes and I am probably a good person to have around should the proverbial shit hit the fan. Whether it’s a emergency or the doldrums I have the ability to work in any situation and MacGyver my way out in most cases. Though the years of working shifts I have an ability to stay awake on night shifts and flip my circadian rhythm around with little to no effect. I have a lifetime of experience to bring to your boat. Please feel free to send me an email at [email protected] should you have any questions. Thanks
