67 yrs. old fit and in great health. Experience includes 15 years of diesel and gasoline engine experience, Managed 3 boatyards responsible for maintenance, repair and upkeep on wide variety of sailing vessels 22-56 feet. Rigging, Hull and Mechanical Experience commissioning new sailing vessels 22-50 feet and responsible for final delivery and shakedown cruises for new owners. Experience in delivery of Motor Yachts, Trawlers and many different kinds of Sailing vessels both as Captain and Watch Leader, up and down inside (ICW) and outside (Atlantic Ocean) Atlantic coast of US from the Upper Maine Coast to Key West Fla./Gulf Coast Punta Gorda Area and Albemarle and Pamlico Sounds and offshore waters of NC. Have owned 6 sailboats thru the years and present owner of 380 Catalina and I am looking for more travel experience to other Countries/Continents and in anticipation of Caribbean and other cruising I would like to do. Lots of single-handed sailing experience. US Navy Destroyerman 4 years with cruising experience in Southeast Asia, Indian Ocean and the North Atlantic. Past Fleet Captain of Pamlico Sailing Club. Current member of Neuse Sailing Association. If it matters, I am also an Accomplished and published Photographer with documented credits. Easy to get along with, No Food Allergies. Hard worker and pride of professionalism in all that I do. Hold a valid US Passport, well traveled and have a pretty much open schedule for weather windows & departure times.
