| I started sailing as an engineer aboard dive charter boats in the Red Sea in 1980 from Eilat to Djibouti. And passing through the Suez Canal many times to Cypress and Greece. I have 3 Atlantic crossings as captain, 2 deliveries to Brazil and 1 from Caribbean to San Diego, 1 from Holland to Red Sea. I hold a RYA 200 ton Ocean certificate from 1996. And have wide range experience on sail and motor boats. I am FAA Commercial Pilot and FAA Certified Mechanic with inspection rating. We owned a hotel and canyoning business in Dominica that we sold in 2020. I and my wife are traveling and currently in Madeira looking for a passage to the Caribbean. | |
