Hello I am at that age when I am looking to take on new challenges and get the business to a level where I can afford the time to be away from it. Live at home with my wife Jacqui and the two children. Keen on keeping fit when i can, although not obsessed with it. I normally like to do at least one ultra marathon a year. I find that having a goal each year means that i will at least train to some extent in order not to let myself down on the day. I have been around dighies all my life really although I do live in land locked Hertfordshire. My father built a Sonata and then purchased a Westerly 33 back in the mid 70's, which I sailed with a few reservations I had to admit. However in 1987/88 I decided to pack in working and sail around the world. It did not really happen but I did a few deliveries around the Med and north America whilst also completing two Atlantic crossings before coming back to the UK after 2.5 years to find a girl to marry. Easy going chap, not great on confrontation, keen to get on with all personalities and do his bit and more for the team on any day in any condition. When asked "what are my interests?" I will also say sailing is No1 although I really don't do enough of it. As the T shirt says - " I would rather be on the water" Thank you for taking the time to read this. | |
