Hello all, im looking for a spot on boat undertaking the 2022 ARC (Grand Canaria to St Lucia) Oct 2022 update - RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate gained Sept 2022. Im 43, live in Falmouth (most of the time) own a 32 ft Westerly Fulmar called Mack II, which i sailed around most of the UK last summer, 50% solo, 50% with chums or family. Some pics here www.instagram.com/ric_crane I also own a Wayfarer, that ive done some decent passages in. I have Day Skipper, VHF Licence, RYA First Aid Certificate, Yachtmaster theory (will tick off the practical exam this year if i find the time). The aim is to get experience of an ocean crossing on the ARC with an experienced and jolly crew before completing as skipper in my next boat in 2023 or 2024 (Ovni possibly or catamaran). Obviously willing to contribute financially as well as in enthusiasm and helpfulness! Cheers! Ric | |
