Fully qualified marine engineer level 3 and have completed a years season at Sunsail as flotilla engineer. Am now harbor master at Odyseas Marina in Greece. Majority of sailing experience comes from on my fathers Jeanneau Sun Odyssey for 10 years around the Balearics and solent. This involved alot of night sailing, watch keeping, good times and good sailing. Most summers I would spend June - September anchoring around the Mediterranean and Balearics so I am fully comfortable with spending long periods on vessels without being on land. I am very confident on a yacht at any given roll whether it be skipper. 1st mate or engineer and even single handed skippering in which I am confident in sailing, maneuvering, mooring and passages. Truly have a passion and love for boats developed ever since being young. I am ideally seeking delivery / mile building positions to do my Offshore Yacht Master, I currently hold a Day skipper tidal certificate but have the full requirements for the Yacht master excluding the mileage. Sailed in all conditions from light breeze, night, fog, with storms 50+ knots including one Category 3 Hurricane in Ibiza. It has been my dream to sail the Atlantic since starting sailing and am always in search of a position to do so. I am a very sensible and mature person with a real drive of determination and passion. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. | |
