Experience: | 1000 ocean miles / 3000 coastal miles |
Sailing now since 2018. I have crewed on various trips in the Mediterranean such as voyages around Crete and Sicily. I have sailed between and UK and Ireland and earlier this summer crewed on a trip to the inner Hebrides. I have my own 27’ Dufour boat which I sail along the south east coast in Ireland. I have recently chartered as a Captain in the Cyclades for 2 weeks. It’s now time to look at some ocean crossings. I have about 3500 costal miles to date. I can forward references and my log. RYA Dayskipper, RYA VHF and RYA first aid. Level 1&2 ISA powerboat training. Over the winter I’m planning a sea survival course. I’m semi retired business executive. My background is in international engineering projets. I’m well traveled and have lived the fly in fly out life for many years. So, I’m well used to the challenges of confined living and the mix of various cultures and personalities. I’m able to produce a few one pot dishes and I’m kinda handy with a few tools as well. You can find my profile on linkedin. | |
