My wife and I have both lived overseas and are very seriously considering buying a boat and sailing around the world for a year or 2, and are looking for some much-needed experience open-water sailing. We are friendly, strong, intelligent, hard workers willing to do whatever is needed, eager learners, and very excited about this kind of adventure. I have day-sailed all my life. I have a bareboat certification and have chartered boats for a couple of weeks, but only for coastal cruising. My wife has basic sailing knowledge. We both take orders well and are both able cooks! I have extensive experience troubleshooting and fixing a wide variety of mechanical and electrical systems. My wife has medical credentials. On COVID, we are being very careful here, and will happily take agreed-upon precautions to make sure we don't bring it to your boat!! | |
