Hello
My name is Paweł Krakowiak, I am Polish and I want to fulfill my dream and sail across the Ocean. Many people dream about it, but few can realize it. I have planned 30 days of vacation and I want to use them for a transoceanic trip. I would like to sail from the Canary Islands or Cabo Verde Islands (or potentially from Europe) to the Caribbean from the beginning of November to max. December 20, 2024.
1 I can help in delivering any sailing yacht as a crew member.
2 I can take part in transoceanic regattas as a crew member.
3 I can take part in a commercial cruise as an officer or crew member.
4 I can sail with private people on their private yacht as an addition to the crew.
I am 56 years old. I have been actively sailing the seas for 7 years. I have a Yacht Master license, I completed VHF radio and STCW course. I have conducted numerous cruises as a captain, covering the entire Baltic Sea, the Norwegian Sea, and within the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. I also participated in cruises to the Canary Islands, the Caribbean and from Malaga via Gibraltar to Cascais. This year I visited Nordkapp on a cruise. I can navigate using maps and electronic equipment. I operate VHF radio efficiently. I'm pretty good at meteorology. I can cook fairly well too. I can sail both during the day and at night - I am capable of taking restful sleep for several hours regardless of the time of day or night. I climbed up the mast many times. I am sociable, tolerant and non-confrontational. I am healthy and physically active. I can communicate in English to a good level. |
