| Growing up in San Juan PR, I ended up on the water ~age 4 (mostly cruising in the Caribbean) By the late 70s, on the Texas Gulf Coast, took to racing (one design and some cruising class) I retired in 2021 after 39 yrs with Shell (RD in material Science and Process Development) Ocean sailing is the draw now. I am always intrigued by the learnings from the variety of people and situations encountered. Over the years I have confirmed that 'any group' with a passion for sailing is a compatible bunch. | |
