I am Jordanian, Irish and British Long story :) I live in Cambridge, UK but we just set off (Jan/19) on a Journey around the world with my wife. We re attempting to be middle-aged ish digital nomads I suppose. Eager to see the world, meet new people, find some adventures and a better life balance. I work in technology and my wife is an English teacher and as of now a writer :) we are planning spend the first year largely in The Americas and Caribbean and take it from there. We are starting in Brazil and playing it by ear after that. our ideal plan would be to move to a boat for the second part of the journey in a year or two and are looking to gain some experience and learn as much as we can along the way. I have sailed a few times and did the theory part of the YM test, my wife has only ever did short day sails but we are both keen on being hands on as much as possible. and to have some fun :) | |
