| I have sailed dinghies since I was a child and still do club racing in a Dart 18. I have owned shares in yachts three times - a 36 ft monohull in the 80s, a 40ft trimaran in the 2000s and a 27ft trimaran around 2015. I have done well over 10,000 miles of coastal yachting. I have done four long trips - Falmouth to Bayona, Hamble to Lisbon, BVI to Bermuda, Cuxhaven to Dover. I passed the Yachtmaster exam in 1996. I worked as a general builder and am now 90% retired. I have all round practical skills and am prepared to take my turn unblocking the heads if it needs doing | |
