Hello! My name is Nellie and I am a Graphic Design student from Sweden who grew up sailing. I'm here at Crewbay with the intention to cross the Atlantic in the winter of 21/22.
I am an outgoing and helpful person with a lot of humor. I feel confident at sea and find joy in cold and rainy weather. I am open to learn new skills and to share mine. My interests include art, movies and extreme sports. So if you want to discuss post-modernism, skateboarding, Tarantino-movies or any odd interests such as dog breeds or celebrities than I am your gal. I am fluent in Swedish and in English.
My sailing experience:
- Currently in the process of sailing my family's boat from Gothenburg to Amsterdam.
- Have been cruising at least one week per year on the Swedish Westcoast on a Bavaria 36 my entire life.
- Currently one of three chiefs at Æolusön which is a sailing school hosted by the Gothenburg Royal Yacht Club.
- Competed in match racing as bowman for five years. Prior to that i sailed 29er.
- Was a skipper at Yacht Week during the summer of 2017.
- Have sailed from Gothenburg to Helsinki and from Inverness to Haugesund with a couple of stops on the way.

- Fartygsbefäl klass 8 / Ship's officers Class VIII (the Swedish equivalent of the yacht master)
