Greetings! My name is Myles Kaufmann, and I’m a 25 y/o male from the beautiful islands of Trinidad and Tobago. I spent my childhood racing Optimist dinghy’s competitively, having represented Trinidad in regattas around the world. I’ve attached photos of some highlight sailing moments. After my Opti career ended, I continued serving as a dinghy sailing instructor to pass on my wisdom and skill sets to the next generation. I am willing and able to help as crew on your journey. My “big boat” experience is limited, however I’m open-minded to learning any skills that will facilitate a successful crossing for you. I have also worked in restaurant kitchens for the past year. I very much enjoy working with food and would be honoured to help sustain the crew with healthy and delicious meals on a daily basis. I plan to see my family in Trinidad for Christmas. The timing of the ARC Atlantic crossing from the Canaries to the Caribbean coincides perfectly with my plans. If I can join you and your crew for this journey to the Canary Islands, it will also help me get one step closer to actualizing this vision of mine. I can be contacted on WhatsApp at +14168160731, call/text at +34647891778, or email at [email protected] I look forward to hearing back from you when you get a chance!
