Looking for: | Worldwide opportunities |
Experience: | 3000 ocean miles / 10000 coastal miles |
Recently retired after 40 years at the grindstone. Time on my hands now to tick off a few of those bucket list items: Camino de Santiago and South America (I'm learning Spanish just for those two). Aus and NZ to see old rugby mates (maybe catch the AC 2021). Route 66 (well the route of it) Sail the pond so I can hold my manhood valued when any speak of that trip. I've recently sold my own yacht to allow me some more freedom to travel, so I've 20 years of offshore skippering (well Solent and Channel) offshore experience, Channel Islands, near France, a bit of Med chartering on my own and others boats. Happy to cook and clean, maintain boats, pretty talented mechanical engineer, ex military electronics engineer (by trade). Not an ocean optimist, been scared too death too many times for that, but a safe set of hands in port and on passage. Solvent, free of date restrictions and happy to share costs. | |
Smoking: | non-smoker |
Relationship status: | married |
Dietary requirements: | Don't like cucumber, unless it the only thing left on board. |
