| I have lived on the Chesapeake Bay my entire life. I have messed around on powerboat primarily in the James river, York river, and Lynnhaven inlet since I was very young. I bought a 27 foot sailboat in 2009 and and did lots of repairs to make her seaworthy. I enjoy boat work and find that almost as much fun as sailing. I sailed that boat for several years and sold it in 2016 and bought a small Mutineer 15 so I could trailer it and take it to different launches. In between I have sailed a few small hobie cats in the Caribbean and a flying scot in Nags Head. I also took ASA 101 in Norfolk VA on a Hunter 23 in 2016. I am very interested in logging some sea miles and learning more about cruising and passage making. | |
