| Hi! I'm planning to take a few months off at the end of this year or the beginning of next year, and I would love to use the time to cross the Atlantic! A bit about my sailing experience: I am a passionate sailor and have been sailing since I was young. My experience includes teaching at a sailing school for 6 years, match racing in Copenhagen for 3 years, and around 8-10 weeks total of sailing trips out on sea, though never more than a week at a time. So I’m very excited to be out for longer! I have done around 4-5 night crossings with watch shifts, and would be happy to cover those responsibilities and all other shared responsibilities that come to play on a sailing trip. A bit about myself, I am a 28 years old woman from the Netherlands. I have lived abroad for most of my life, and am currently living in London since a year where I work as a sustainability consultant. I’m taking some months off work at the start November, in which I hope to join the ARC, ARC+ or any other Atlantic crossing. I am very outgoing and I enjoy meeting new people. I tend to have a positive approach to everything in life and always love a new challenge or adventure. Looking forward to being in touch! | |
