My name is Matt Robbins. I want to be on your boat and make some passages with you in 2019! Here are 3 reasons I should be on your crew. I’m available for large sections of 2019, I have sailing experience on multi day trips and J/22 racing, and I’m easy to live with for several reasons. I’m available Jan 1st 2019 until May 2019 for a longer trip(s) and before the December holidays to do a test sail together. I can pay my travel expenses to and from the boat and would like to work for my passage. I‘ve completed my ASA 101-104 between Puerto Rico and Culebra that included course plotting, advanced sail handling, and overall boat operations. Before that, I raced J/22s as the bowman and trimmer, with other dinghy sailing mixed in there as well. On my last 5 day trip, I planned and cooked all meals onboard. While I am always available for prep, planning or cooking, I would hope to share more of the meal duties on a longer trip. I have traveled extensively and feel confident provisioning or making any arrangements ashore for the boat or crew. I am healthy and active making me equipped for any demanding job. Additionally, I keep things clean and tidy, which is very important in tight quarters. I value integrity and think it’s important to do what you say, when you say you will do it. As a former financial officer, I am very comfortable with responsibility. Please reach out via message, phone, or email to talk more. I will respond in less than 12 hours.
