My Name is Matthias. I am a retired surveyor to Lloyd's Register and was the Yacht and Passenger Ship Manager in Germany. I started sailing when I was 16 and continued since then on the North Sea, Baltic Sea and Mediterranian Sea. In 2014 I sailed the trans-Atlantic ARC as watch leader on a Swan 51. Too bad, I never had an own boat but luckily I have some friends with boats. I consider myself to be heathy and fit for my age and would like to face another sailing challenge. I am a good team-player, but if you are looking for a good cook, you will find a better one. I am very good in assistence and dish-washing though. I have the time and the personal freedom for longer voyages now and would like to use both.
