| Hello potential boaty. Is that the correct term to use? I currently have completed the ASA certifications through104 (Bareboat Cruising). I am debating about purchasing my own boat and take up the cruising lifestyle. I'd prefer to get more experience sailing before I take on my own boat.. I'm hoping to join others who would like an extra pair of hands while I learn the ropes. My background has been mainly been between real estate both as a handyman and as a realtor and the high tech field where I have spent nearly 20yrs repairing equipment and debugging our products. I'm more than willing to assist with any problems that arise whether it's just an extra pair of hands or someone to take the lead and find out what's wrong. I'm interested in all there is to know about sailing and the cruising lifestyle. I will be an unobtrusive sponge ready to soak up the knowledge you're willing to share. | |
