We are Alanah (30) and Matt (33), both keen adventurers and experienced sailors from New Zealand. We've sailed 4000+ miles together in the South Pacific and have extensive cruising / racing experience around New Zealand's coasts. We are flexible, hard working, easy to get along with and available immediately. Skills include: - Watch keeping, vessel handling, sail trimming - Mechanical repairs, engine / yacht maintenance and general problem solving - Splicing and rigging - Cooking & preparing meals (including full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings) - Filleting and preparing fish Alanah has her RYA Competent Crew cert. Matt has completed the NZ Coastguard Advanced Sea Survival cert and Offshore Medic cert. Matt is a mechanical engineer working as a marine designer and Alanah is a comic book illustrator and science communicator. Hobbies include bicycle and motorcycle touring, mechanical design projects, writing comic books, leather work, sailing, maintaining & restoring wooden boats. We look forward to sailing with you! | |
