| I am a Yacht Master with 17,000 mls on my log. I am looking to do ARC 2019 with my 43 year old son Alastair. We are looking for a crewing opportunity on a family boat or a couple looking for off-shore down wind sailing experaince. I gained my Yacht Master qualification from the UKSI in 2001/2. I crossed with the ARC Europe in 2002 as first mate on a Oyster 46. I purchased a 12 metre Yacht in 2002 for the ARC 2003 and returned to the UK with ARC Europe in 2004 with my wife and one crew. I have chartered in Croatia (14m yacht and 8 crew) and in Italy (16m Yacht and 10 crew). I have also sailed Dinghies from the age on 9. My son has done lots of Dingy sailing and has crossed the Bay of Biscay with me, as well as the two charters. A family boat or a couple requiring extra off shore experience would be perfect. | |
