Hi I'm Marcus. I am 21 years of age from Sweden. I have been sailing since the age of 7. Mostly smaller boats up to a crew of three people including some racing. I have been a sailing instructor for six years working up to 5 weeks every summer, teaching children from the age of 7 up to 16 how to sail. I have also educated children in Coastal Yachting Diploma including night time navigation with lighthouses in the Swedish archipelago. Other than this seasonal occupation I sail several weeks every year with friends and family with boats measuring up to 46 feet. I have a year of military training in Boden, the northernmost part of Sweden. This taught me stresshandling and performing under high pressure situations. Also, living outside for days in temperatures below -30 degrees Celsius taught me endurance. Crossing the Atlantic Ocean have long been a bucket list thing of mine. And now I'm looking for a boat to go with. I have a big passion for music so if there is room and desire for a guitar on board I won't hesitate to bring it! All the best! Marcus | |
