Looking for: Caribbean; Central & North America; Mediterranean & Black Sea; North Pacific Islands; South America; South Pacific Islands; Western Europe & North Atlantic Islands;
Experience: 0 ocean miles / 2500 coastal miles
I’m a 57 married guy who wants to get more experience in long sailing trips to prepare myself for my own trip to Southern Europe and maybe later to do the Atlantic Crossing. I sailed in small boats from childhood, but have now almost 20 years of sea sailing experience: The Greek an Turkish islands, the North Sea and the English Channel (we did a part of the South East and West coast of the UK and the Dutch and Belgium coast (I came to St Malo in France) in my own boat, a Jeanneau SO 32.2. I sold my boat last year and am looking for a boat better suitable for longer trips. I can sail, navigate, cook, talk about life and a lot of other things. As a crew member I hope to get the extra experience needed to make the trip later in my own boat. Besides this practical experience I have some basic certificates: for VHF use and ICC (for inland waters).

Dietary requirements: I’m a flexitarian, meaning no meat, but eat fish (eat meat when there is no alternative😀).
