Ahoy! I’m Lorenzo, hailing from the beautiful coasts of Italy, and I’m eager to join you for thrilling adventures and races across the globe. As a remote worker with a flexible schedule, I have the freedom to fully immerse myself in sailing experiences whenever the opportunity arises. I’m a young and passionate dinghy sailing instructor based in Sardinia at the sailing school “Centro Nautico di Levante” (during the summer season). My sailing journey has taken me across the waters of Italy, Greece, France, Spain, and Portugal, both on dinghies, small catamarans, and cruising boats. I’m no stranger to night shifts, and seasickness isn’t in my vocabulary. I’m more than happy to roll up my sleeves and contribute to all duties onboard, whether it’s cooking, cleaning, or assisting with maintenance. I’m committed to being a clean & tidy crew member who approaches every task with diligence, enthusiasm, and a positive outlook. I believe in maintaining a harmonious and respectful environment on board, where everyone feels valued and included. Physically fit & healthy, I’m a confident swimmer and rarely seasick, making me a reliable companion in any conditions. Sailing for me is about more than just the adventure—it’s a journey of self-discovery and growth. I’m driven by the desire to face challenges head-on, seek adventure in new waters, and gain experience that will help me one day fulfill my dream of buying my own boat and travel the world independently. Along the way, I’m excited to share experiences with fellow sailors, learn new skills, and explore remote places that few get to see. Inclusivity is important to me, and I’m fully LGBTIQA+ respectful, ensuring that everyone on board feels welcome and comfortable. I travel light, adapt quickly, and bring a sense of humor to keep spirits high, no matter the situation. I’m also ready to share charter costs and take part in every aspect of the journey, from work to play. While I’m open to the idea of a career change in the future, my primary focus now is on the adventure itself and the incredible learning opportunities that come with life on the ocean. I’m eager to find myself through these experiences and make lasting connections with the people I meet along the way. Looking forward to gaining more experience in the ocean and sailing with you! P.S. Yes, as an Italian, I promise you won’t go hungry; I can whip up some amazing meals to keep the crew well-fed and happy! | |
