KENDRICK OPPENHUIZEN, male, 29

Ref 48676

Nationality: United States
Currently based in: Santa Barbara, United States
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 3000 ocean miles / 15000 coastal miles
Sailing is my primary passion and I have been doing it since I was a kid. I started in dinghies, became an Instructor on Keelboats up to 50', Captained week-long charters in the BVI, and even crewed on a Square Tops'l Schooner in British Columbia. I have a USCG Master 50T Captains License and currently run day-charters on a 55 ft Catamaran in Santa Barbara, CA. While I do not have offshore experience, I have lots of time underway on coastal trips especially at night. I am looking to build offshore miles, learn from my crewmembers, and be in the role of crew. My favorite memory of sailing was the first time I got my Laser up on a plane. My favorite thing to bring on a sailing trip: A book, sunscreen, and the warmest beanie possible.
