My husband John, and I are looking to join a boat doing World ARC 2024 specifically from Tahiti to Fiji where we are joining the rally on a catamaran as far as Darwin. In June 2023 we had to return to the UK from Tahiti because of a family bereavement and are keen to complete our transpacific crossing. We were part of a crew of 4 on a Lagoon 380 crossing from Trinidad to Tahiiti via the Panama Canal, Galapagos, Marquesas and Tuamotos. We carried out all crew duties including watches, cooking and cleaning. We have experience of Polynesian atolls and Pacific navigation - John has navionics on iPad along with Google earth screenshots to help locating bommies in atolls. We are non-smokers, easy going, fit and adventurous and enjoy being part of a team. We are happy to tackle all aspects of sailing as well as pitch in with the victualling, cooking and cleaning duties. Some of our adventures together can be found on www.johnmoorhouse.com | |
