I've been sailing since college days. I owned a Hunter 34 in Monterey, CA for 11 years, and in 2013 I retired and bought a cruising catamaran. The first year we sailed from the Bahamas to Portsmouth, VA, where we joined the ARC Europe rally. After the Atlantic crossing we cruised the Spanish Mediterranean coast. During the summer of 2015 we sailed the west coast of Italy from Genoa to Naples, and then sailed to Sotogrande, Spain at the end of the season in September. We spent the summer of 2016 cruising Corsica and the Mediterranean coasts of France and Italy, and then sailed to Marina di Ragusa on the south coast of Sicily at the end of the season. In July, 2017 we sailed from Sicily to Gibraltar and Sotogrande, Spain, and in June, 2018 we sailed from Sotogrande to Olympic Marina, Greece. In August, 2019 we took the long route from Naxos, Greece back to Olympic Marina, with stops in Rhodes, Marmaris, Turkey, Rhodes, Santorini and Serifos. | |
