| Retired as CEO a few years ago to get more time for sailing and other fun activities. Stay fit and committed to fulfill my dream of crossing the Atlantic. Danish by birth but international in spirit: studied at Stanford, California, lived in London for a couple of years and worked as engineer in all parts of the world. Live in the harbor of Copenhagen but only have a kayak and a small motor yacht, so I miss large sails. Sailed since I was 6 years, OK-dinghy, later 5.05, Vega, Ballade, Maxi and Bavaria in Denmark, Sweden and across the North sea to Scotland with a night in winds of 8 Beaufort as the only crewmember not seasick. Lost masts in rough winds with both 5.05 and Bavaria 39, but managed to get the boats safely to harbor. Carnegie award of bravery for saving German tourists at sea in storm. I have in my calendar blocked mid November - X-mas 2019 and will be in Gran Canaria 18th November 2019. | |
