Hi there! I am looking to join a West>East transatlantic crossing or an ARC 2020 crew! I graduated from University as a civil engineer in 2019 but decided I needed a change of pace and to venture out a bit; a life long wish of mine -- I flew to Barcelona to live with my estranged relatives. My cousin here introduced me to sailing and I was instantly hooked! After COVID19 restrictions were supposed to relax in June, I had plans to work in the port of Barcelona this summer to gain experience sailing and working in the marine environment, however those restrictions never eased up. To stay motivated, I enrolled in an online course to learn the basics of sailing theory and be ready to take the licensing exam for recreational boats, but I have much to learn! I spent the Summer with my grandparents learning to cook some incredible dishes, so I can also be of service contributing to food preparation. Please message me / email if you are interested! Native English, intermediate Spanish, and also trying out a bit of French! | |
