| Professional within IT project management, used to work closely with different personalities/nationalities. Most recently worked for seven years at IKEA IT HQ in Sweden. Before that worked as IT-consultant for twenty years. Analytical and calm as base character traits, former ROTC (reserve officer) swedish army as Quarter Master. Have enjoyed sailing since being a small kid. My parents were not boating - instead an uncle introduced me to sailing at around 8-10 years old. As an adult have sailed in the mediterranien on three separate occasions 1-2 weeks each time with colleagues. In Sweden a number of times, most recently on the swedish westcoast about 3 years ago. Bought my own first sailboat 2,5 years ago (X-Yacht 342 w/fractional rigg) and have sailed in southern of Sweden/Denmark with my girlfriend since then. Now interested to stretch myself and do an ocean crossing - to join the ARC 2019. Half-decent Cook, about 6 feet tall weight at around 115 kg - I am quite "sturdy": have not suffered from sea-sickness and cope well with sailing/working on variable hours. | |
