| Hello im Joel and I am 28 years old. I am looking for a sailing opportunity across the Atlantic this fall/winter as this has always been a dream of mine. I am not experienced with sailing on sailboats but have spent quite some time on a Hatteras 55 Motoryacht in the med. and on many other smaller boats. A Couple of years ago i started the B-certificate (swiss equivalent of rya course) but only completed the theoretical part as i was not able to gain the needed ocean miles at the time. I am a trained industrial mechanic and have a lot of experience with diesel and gas engines as well as hydraulics, electronics and transmissions. Personally I am easy going and dependable. I would also call myself a pretty good cook but I'll leve that up to you to decide ;) | |
