| I’m a Belgian professional adventurer who’s climbing the highest mountain on each continent (Secutec Seven Summits). I’m going to those mountains without using an engine. So far I’ve been cycling, ocean rowing, walking more than 50.000 km and climbed 4 out of 7 summits (Elbrus, Everest, Carstensz Pyramid and Kilimanjaro). I've rowed from Java to Papua in 6 months and from Portugal to Canary islands. Currently I’m preparing my next phase: going to the highest mountain of North America, Mount Denali (Alaska). To do this I'll be sailing from Lorient to Saint Lucia as part of the ARC (as guest crew). I recently had to change my plans quickly because of the Russian war, I wanted to cross Siberia to Alaska by bicycle, ski and kayak. From Saint Lucia I’m currently searching for a way to get to Panama or another port on the American mainland. From that point I want to start cycling my way up north to Alaska. | |
