| Ahoy! Who wants to cross an ocean? This guy! I have moved around a bit, growing up and learning to sail on the lakes in Minnesota, PHRF racing as crew on Lake Michigan, and training for the New World Challenge living in Boston. The New World Challenge fizzled out due to the market crash in the early 2000's, so I have yet to cross an ocean. Currently living in Colorado USA, a looong way from any ocean. Rocky Mountain oysters just aren't cutting it. I have captained chartered boats from 27 to 51 feet over the years, monohulls and cats, in the Caribbean, French Polynesia, Lake Superior, and the San Juan Islands, including a 6 week tour of the Caribbean on a 46 foot monohull. An electrical engineer by trade, I am handy with tools and can sail, cook, clean, and make repairs. I am also a PADI Open Water Scuba instructor. | |
