Nationality: France
Currently based in: Nice, France
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 100 ocean miles / 200 coastal miles
In June 2021 I will be graduating from my master's program. After years of intense studying, and before starting my professional life, I will be embarking on a sabbatical year. During this year I will be looking to realize my lifelong dream: sailing across an Ocean. I am truly passionate about the marine environment, and by nature in general, which is why I am so eager to live through such an experience. I am also fond of water sports: a kitesurfing enthusiast, as well as an experienced diver (PADI rescue diver) and free diver. I would qualify myself as a beginner/intermediate sailer. I have had twice the opportunity to live on a catamaran for 3 weeks +. Although I was not the skipper, I definitely gained some experience there, as well as the conviction I wanted more! The experience I lack, I will make up for by being extra enthusiastic and available. I am eager to learn what you can teach me about sailing and I will always do my best to apply this knowledge to the best of my abilities. Above all, I am a reliable, as well as a social individual, who will look to participate in every task in order to make this passage as safe and enjoyable as possible! Open to any crossing opportunities, starting January 2022, with a preference for the Pacific crossing.
