I'm a recently retired restaurateur looking at getting into sailing. I'm a passionate and hard working individual. I'm no stranger to hard work - I have opened and successfully managed 6 restaurants in my 20 year career as a restaurant owner. I know what its like to work 24/7/365, what it means to dig deep into yourself and persevere when the chips are down. I'm a problem solver, mechanically inclined and able to fix things, I'm also passionate about people, easy to get along with and have an uncanny ability to make people feel comfortable and make people laugh. I am looking for a new challenge. I have recently completed my ASA 101, 103, 104 and 105 courses. I am a very fit 60 year old. I'm passionate about keeping keeping fit (cardio and lifting weights), My recreational activities include: canoe tripping, rock climbing, skiing and motorcycle touring (have toured across Canada and USA). My philosophy in life is nothing is for free - you have to work hard to get what you want and be willing to invest in yourself. I will pay for all my travel and living expenses. I'm also a very good cook! Thank you and look forward to hearing from you
