I'm 27 and currently living in London but am going to be taking a year long sabbatical in October 2022 and as part of that want to sail across the Atlantic. I’m crewing on a boat from the UK to the Canary Islands (Las Palmas) and should arrive early November. From there I would like to find a boat to cross the Atlantic. I’m a lively, optimistic, active and friendly person who works hard and learns fast. I’m easy to get along with and keen to meet new people. In my teenage years I sailed around the UK (including to The Hague) on a 70ft yacht where I got my RYA Competent Crew and also did some dingy sailing. Since then I’ve been out on smaller yachts for the occasional regatta. I’m currently doing my RYA day skipper and trying to get out on the water when I can (not very often!). I love the outdoors and am an avid climber/mountaineer, having done many 4000+meter peaks across Europe as well as kiting surfing on the south coast. | |
