I am recently widowed, Quite fit,100 kg, 1.88mtrs tall. I am a Shipwright /Boatbuilder, 2nd class Marine Engineer/Seagoing. Am currently self employed, and working part-time for the Brockenhurst Maritime training college. I have UK "Leave to remain" and am an Australian citizen. I have previously owned a carbon fibre mast building company in Australia, called Carbontech Spars/International. I have worked for 3 Americas cup syndicates as mast builder/designer. Also the Volvo Round the World race,syndicate AssaAbbloy. plus a number of vendee teams. I am looking for a sailing sabbatical and cruising sounds perfect for me. I can cook, especially onboard, and in rough conditions, I am also competent with all marine systems and engineering. I have a commercial divers cert. and a current Driving licence(Aust. and UK). I am financially independent, for a couple of years anyway. Have travelled allot and enjoy the experience. | |
