I'm a life-long sailor and degreed mechanical engineer who started sailing at age 9 on Lasers and Optis and eventually became head counselor of my local sailing camp. After 7 years of servitude at my desk job I quit and pursued a life at sea. I've owned two 39ft sailboats, one of which I sailed 5000nm from Ft Lauderdale to Trinidad and back with more than 30 friends and family joining me along the way. After selling this boat in 2016, I turned my hobby into my profession and transitioned to working on large 100ft sailing yachts as sole engineer and watchleader which I have been doing for the last 7 years, sailing over 50,000nm in the Pacific, Caribbean, and Mediterranean with many ocean crossings in between. I have my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, have completed the YM Ocean Theory and have even my USCG Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW) license as well. In 2019 I met my partner, Jasmine Johnson, and she jumped into working on large sailing yachts as well which she's been doing for the last 4 years. She has both her RYA Dayskippers license and she just completed an intensive remote culinary school course so she's a weapon in the galley. We both love sailing, don't get seasick, and are keen to find a boat with good energy to join to help continue this adventure that is life.
